Stress ECG (Exercise Test)
A Stress ECG, also known as an exercise test, records your heart's electrical activity while you walk on a treadmill or use an exercise bike. By increasing the heart's workload, it can reveal changes that may not appear at rest.
This test can help detect reduced blood flow to the heart muscle that points towards coronary artery disease. It is carried out under supervision, and the results help assess how your heart copes with exertion.
This explanation is for general information and is not medical advice. Your results are always interpreted by a doctor.
