How to prepare

• Please come fasting. Stop eating 10 to 12 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol and smoking before your tests.
• You may drink water as needed.
• You do not need to stop chronic medication. Take morning doses after blood is drawn.
• Bring a list of your current medications and previous test results.
• For women, the appointment should not coincide with your menstrual period.
