Understanding Your Check-up Results

June 4, 2026 · 4 min read

Your check-up report brings together many measurements. Here is a simple overview of the main groups and what they tell your doctor.

Metabolism and blood sugar

Fasting glucose and HbA1c help screen for diabetes and prediabetes. Cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides assess your cardiovascular risk.

Organ function

Urea, creatinine and urinalysis reflect kidney health. AST, ALT, GGT and ALP reflect the liver and bile ducts. TSH evaluates thyroid function.

Blood count and markers

A complete blood count can reveal anemia and other conditions. Specific markers, interpreted carefully by your doctor, support early detection where appropriate.
